Arizona, here we come!

Annie and Mom decided to put on some Arizona duds in preparation for our trip to see Grandma and Grandpa in February. Annie says she's ready to hit the pool but Dad is not so sure!

Exciting Times!

It has been an exciting few days at the Spreigl household! Annie and Grace have decided they are big enough girls to try sleeping in their own cribs! They have officially made it through a few 'full' nights in their own room, in their own cribs! For those not up to date on the sleeping status at our house, the girls have staunchly refused to sleep in their cribs up until now, and have only been happy in their swings! Needless to say, we were thrilled, and somewhat in disbelief to wake up on Saturday morning and have them STILL asleep! So shocked, in fact, that I had to document it...here's how we found them in the morning! Let's hope for many more good nights to come. Both girls were happy to have a delicious breakfast after a good night of sleep!

2 moms, 4 daughters, one trip to the mall!

Annie and Grace had a very exciting day today on an outing with another set of twin girls! Tirzah and Alayna were born one month before Annie and Grace, and we met their mom and dad in our "Expecting Multiples" class at United Hospital this summer. It turns out our two families have lots of connections: twin daughters, born one month apart, moms who are both 8th grade English teachers and Bethel grads, and Grandpas who both grew up in Worthington, MN and went to high school together! Needless to say, the moms had LOTS to talk about during our little outing, and the babies behaved very nicely! We caused quite the traffic jam as we made our way through the mall with our two limos (or double strollers).

2 Months Old!

I've succumbed to the pressure of Grandma Brenda and her blogging skills, along with all the other blogs out there that I love reading, and have decided to start this blog for my girls! Although they were actually 2 months old on January 13th, here are some pictures. We can't believe how much they've grown already. It's been an eventful two months, but we are all getting the hang of life with twins.

Inauguration Day!

Annie and Grace thoroughly enjoyed their first inauguration yesterday. They were very good listeners during Barack's inaugural address. Grandpa is home from Arizona, and as you can imagine, was very happy to teach them some history lessons while we watched the coverage of this exciting event. As you can tell from their gummy grins, these twins are excited about their new president!
