Arizona Adventures: Part II

After a day of adjusting to the warmer weather, both Annie and Grace agreed that they prefer bare feet and short sleeves to the winter wear they are used to at home!
Here, Grace entertains a crowd at the spa while Mom gets a pedicure!

Arizona Adventures: Part 1

Preparations for our big trip to visit Grandma and Grandpa in Arizona began several days before actually leaving!  Luckily Grandma was in town to help us get ready and help us get there! 
After arriving at the airport
and making it through security,
Annie and Grace enjoyed their supper at the gate! 
Upon boarding, a slight meltdown occured, which made Mom and Dad a little nervous.
After a bed time snack and a few walks up and down the aisles, peace reigned once more! 
Good thing it wasn't a very full flight! 
We finally reached our destination at 11:45 p.m., Tucson time (that would be 12:45 a.m., Annie and Grace time), but no one seemed to mind!  A thrilled Grandpa was there to greet us! 

Signs of Spring?!

Margaret came for a visit this past weekend, and spent some quality time with the girls...as evidenced from these pictures, Annie and Grace were quite happy to snuggle with her! Mom had a lot of fun too!

On Saturday it was (almost) warm enough for the girls to have their first walk outside. We bundled them up in the buntings that Grandma made and headed for a stroll around the neighborhood!

Dad checked carefully to make sure that they were dressed warmly enough!

In other unrelated news...it appears we could have two potential thumb-suckers! Both girls have been working on this trick, and although the thumb isn't quite big enough to be satisfying yet, at least they have figured out how to get it in their mouths! Grace seems to prefer her left thumb, and Annie, her right.

Busy Days!

Annie and Grace have been very busy girls lately...hence the lack of blog entries! Daily life is becoming a little more routine for the girls, and Mom and Dad! We have....

taken lots of outings in our cozy car seats with the cute hats that Grandma Brenda made!

Our favorite outings include: Packer basketball games and Target! We also have made it to two ECFE classes and several 'play dates' with friends ( I think these are more fun for Mom than anyone else!).

Other favorite pastimes for Annie and Grace include: hanging with Mom....

Mom likes trying all sorts of new outfits on us now that we fit into more of clothes! Don't we look big in our jeans?!?

And Dad loves to file our nails because they get so long!

and a warm bath are the end of a perfect day for us!
