Springtime Fun!

Happy Spring! Annie and Grace have been enjoying the spring weather and doing all sorts of fun things with their Mom and Dad!

The girls celebrated St. Patrick's day with a play date at Stacy's house....The boys had a great time playing with Annie, but Grace was just a little too shy; she chose to nap during her sister's adventures!

And...since they are such big girls now (12 lbs, 8 oz (Annie) and 12 lbs, 9 oz (Grace)), they have had to buy a few new outfits! Not everybody can get away with wearing a terry cloth, hot pink or neon green pantsuit, but these two sure can! Please note the matching nuks!

In addition to the new outfits, a few new toys have been added into the mix at our house!

Here's Gracie in her new jumparoo! She hasn't quite mastered the 'jumping' part of it yet, but she definitely likes to just dangle!

Meanwhile, Jen sent the girls some t-shirts from Nantucket, and the girls are ready to hit the beach!

Today we had our first outing to the MN Zoo! Annie and Grace weren't so sure about the animals, but they definitely loved the ride in their stroller!

We met up with our friends, the Hansons, and Grace and Nora enjoyed some serious face time!

Grace wanted out of the stroller, so into the Baby Bjorn she went...things were much more exciting from this perspective!

Spring stroll!

It almost hit 60 degrees in MN this weekend, so Grace and Annie were excited to try out their new stroller! They are definitely feeling like big girls in their side by side stroller! We bundled them up and hit the streets! There will be many more walks to come! Thank goodness for sunshine and warm weather!

Annie and Grace are 4 months old!

We can't believe it! Here are the big girls, sporting some very cute shirts given to them by one of Manuel's students. Even though we think that they look more and more different from one another every day, we figured the shirts would help those of you who don't get to see them on a regular basis! Annie weighed in at 12 lbs, 3 oz today...and her latest 4 month old trick is smacking her lips! She loves to giggle, especially at her Daddy, and she is our smiley, mellow little girl!

Grace weighed in at 12 lbs, 7 oz..continuing to be the 'big' sister. As you can see from the two photos below, her latest trick is to grab onto anything and everything! These pictures could get a little more challenging in the next few months. Grace has also learned how to spit! She finds it quit hilarious as do her parents...hmm..I wonder how long that will be cute! Grace also loves to giggle, and she is our 'spirited' girl!

Both of them are so much fun and their good night time sleeping habits have made our life so much more enjoyable. I go back to work in 3 weeks, so another adjustment is on the way. We all have mixed feelings about this transition, but are thankful that Grandma and Grandpa Robertson are going to be home from Arizona in time to take over child care duties until the end of the school year! Annie and Grace will be quite spoiled by June!

Stylish gals!

Annie and Grace got these stylish outfits from Mom's friend Ruth! I remember opening the gift and thinking that they would never be big enough to wear it...and look at them now! The first of many jean skirts....

Big Girls!
